Product Overview

When athletes are ready to push their bar training to the next level, coaches need tools they can trust. The Bar Release Throw Pad is designed to keep high-level bar training safe, progressive, and confidence-building from the very first attempt.

This U-shaped pad covers all types of bar rails during the most critical phases of release move training.  Lightweight enough to handle and position quickly, yet built with ample medium-density foam, durable denim, and smooth vinyl, this bar pad is the kind of smart, coach-friendly tool that belongs in every progressive gymnastics program.

  • U-Shaped Design — Wraps around the bar to provide targeted protection exactly where athletes need it most during release move training.
  • Medium-Density Foam — Ample foam cushioning absorbs impact and protects athletes during the catch phase of high-level release moves.
  • Denim Surface is Soft and Forgiving — The denim covering creates a soft surface that makes it easier to commit to skills with confidence.
  • Vinyl Underside that Slides On Easily — The smooth vinyl surface allows the pad to slide effortlessly onto the bar, so coaches can position it quickly.
  • Lightweight and Easy to Handle — With the built-in handle, coaches can move, adjust, and reposition the pad between reps
  • Built for High-Level  Training on many events — Designed specifically with release moves in mind, this pad supports progressive skill development on uneven bars, parallel bars, high bar, or pit bar.
  • Durable Construction — The combination of denim and vinyl isn't just functional — it's built to hold up to the daily demands of a busy gymnastics program.
